    Co. D 11th Georgia

    Gentlemen:

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all those fine fellows who joined up for the company. We have a fine group of men whom I think will be able to worry some of those Yankee foraging parties quite a bit.

As soon as email lists are distributed to company commanders, I will be sending out some information to the company and an email correspondence can be started up amongst us as we draw closer to the event. I have some addresses for company members but there are many that I do not.

At this point the command structure will be:

    Gus Wimmer-Brown - Lieutenant
    Dave Parent - 1st Sgt.
    Frank Perkin - 2nd Sgt.
    Andrew Kasmar - Corporal

Other corporals will be added soon to fill out the structure.

Once again, thank you all for your willingess to serve in the company. I shall do my best to make the experience a good one for you.

Brian Baird has agreed to fill a second corporal slot. If there are two other members of the company that would like to serve as such, please let me know.

Your wish is my command Corporal. I plan to bring a few home made Apple pies with me so we can fortify ourselves before show time.
