"Bummers" - November 13-15, 2009 All Hell Has Broken Loose in Georgia - Molena, Georgia - This will be a scripted scenario which will recreate actual historic encounters between Sherman's "Bummers" and Georgia Militia/Wheeler's Cavalry. "Bummers" will be held 145 years from the day that Sherman's Army set out on the March to the Sea from Atlanta November 15, 1864.

Veterans would tell of Sherman's ordering a flanking movement and instructing a subordinate how to report his progress: "See here Cox, burn a few barns occasionally, as you go along. I can't understand those signal flags, but I know what smoke means"

Rod, the militia doesn't have any rope because General Hood ordered it burned when he ditched Atlanta or took it up north into Tennessee. Uncle Billy took the rest.

All the militia has now is bluster, umbrellas, and bad knees
