Re: CS Issue Shirts by Ross Lamoreaux

There are a number of surviving orginal CS issue shirts made from plain white (aka "off white") shirting or osnaburg. I think it would be great to see more of these at events, especially mid-war scenarios portraying soldiers that had an opportunity to be supplied within a reasonable time prior to the date of the scenario. The many Gettysburg living histories and other events coming up this year come to mind...

        Ross,

After looking at the pics here, and the shelter half I have from you, I plan on making this purchase, soon, for sure!

Just another "yes" to the quality of Ross' work. I have made about a dozen and a half CS issue shirts and I can honestly tell you what Ross is asking is a great price and constructed by a very talented tailor!

I've got mine on order based on the many recommendations I've read here. It sounds like a real high quality comfortable shirt. Is this shirt correct for for ANV/East as well as West?

My shirt arrived yesterday, and I can only echo the sentiments of everyone else on this board. Ross has done outstanding work on a great kit from Dan. My thanks to you both, this will definitely be making its debut at New Hope Church.

                  Thanks...
