Re: Exciting News From Civil War Historian Magazine

        Gents,

Super news that the publishing has passed to a FUBU gang, but; if Ertel is out does this mean that wide distrobution is out as well? My living arrangements have been in flux so I haven't subscibed, and since day one have had no trouble finding the mag at BN, Boarders, Books-a-Million, from Pa. to Ms. Now it's nowhere to be found! Has the shelfspace vanished with the change of owners or is this a temporary glitch? I'm jonesin' for an issue and have had zero luck in the usual venues. I know subscribing would save money, support the new management, etc. but when I move and it's 3 months for the mags to catch-up to me: that don't help my state-o-mind! Any input to my dilemma would be helpful, with the price of gas it's getting difficult to chase all over creation to find a magazine; even this one.

Re: Exciting News From Civil War Historian Magazine

            Scott,

Ertel took the magazine off of newsstands before we took over. We do, however, agree with his assesment of that situation. Newsstand sales were costing the publication far too much money, and that cost naturally gets passed on to the consumer. By taking it off of newsstands we are able to keep the subscription cost reasonable.

If you want to subscribe, please do so. Ill see to it that you get every issue regardless of how often you move. Drop me a line or give me a ring as this is not nearly as complicated as it may seem.

Re: Exciting News From Civil War Historian Magazine

Overseas subscriptions are an additional $19.00 US.

APO addresses are, naturally, the same as the US rate.
