    Friends and comrades;

    I would like to announce that Orchard Hill Sutlery is not accepting any new orders at this and until further notice. We need to get caught up on any and all pending orders. If you should have any questions the status of a pending order please call us at 518-875-9981, or email us at orchardhillsutlery@earthlink.net. Some recent emails have been lost, so if you have emailed us over the last few weeks and have not had a reply, please email us again. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

      I'll second that, though mine is a bullseye model; first rate work all the way.

      Question for you, Dan...I was curious as to why the browsing options have been disabled on your website?

      I understand that you're not taking orders at the moment, however, not being able to view the items on your site will certainly be an unfortunate proposition.

              I believe that just from seeing how long they have not been taking orders...perhaps to become another dead link on the Approved Vendors list.

              Just a thought,

                I guess I don't really blame them. Its a hard business of high overhead, long hours, demanding customers, lots of travel, and seemingly shrinking overall customer base.

                  Well my reply to this post is about 5 years late... but actually no it wasn't any of that. Was the work hard and long, with little money made, sure it was, but... it was also very enjoyable and very fun. Demanding customers? Okay maybe a few, but most were all great folks, many of which I still have contact with today. Just to finally set the record straight on that sudden disappearance and demise of OHS back then, and my leaving of the hobby for all this time, it was actually none of that. It was part of a divorce settlement, and an equitable division of marital assets, one of which was the business OHS. I could have and maybe should have made an announcement to that affect back then, but please understand that it was a very private matter. Part of the settlement we reached back then was that my ex-wife assumed sole ownership of the business, so I moved on and was no longer involved in the business. I would though like to finally take this moment and thank all of you for your patronage and business over those 9 years that I operated. I made many friends, and like I said previously, many of you I still have contact with even today. So there you have it, it was a great ride. Thanks again.
