Chums,
Cleaning up my library and came across this book, have no idea where it cam from or how I received it, most likely from an estate sale eons ago.
It is an original printing (not the 1st private printing but the first "for the public printing) circa 1897 of a book by Medal of Honor soldier John M Vanderslice called "Gettysburg - Where and how the regiments fought and the troops they encountered". It comes with a large paper map of troop layouts, I believe is the Bachelder map as the two of them worked closely together on the Battlefield Memorial Foundation.
Just wondering who might have some information on this book and its possible worth for insurance purposes. Its worn but in fine shape and the spine is good as well.
Thanks for any help you can give me.
Joe
