        Re: New Blanket Reproduction!

        Greetings,
I agree with other contributers to this post that there isn't much out there for reproduction Sesech blankets. It would be great to reproduce an identified Confederate blanket that has a strong provenance.

Runyon, not THAT blue Federal blanket, a different one.

I'm trying really hard not to tell you guys what our ideas are.

              Hi,

While I would be interested in seeing both a Federal and Confederate blanket being made, I would prefer a CS. There are very few on the market right now, and I think that it would be a big seller.

I think both could be of use, providing they BOTH would have a fairly wide range of usage. ~Gary

                  Sirs...

I would like to see both. I'll bet they both sell well, and one of these I'll get my Confederate kit together.

                  Respectfully....

                        Re: New Blanket Reproduction!

Currently, there are lots of options for a US blanket. Not too many choices for the CS side, except for Brooke blanket and Civilian blankets. CS would be the way to go here. Thanks

C'mon you guys, what you really want to know is which one do you do first, knowing that you must do both in good course.

Sometimes I think the blanket habit is probably the most addicting in the hobby - one can actually use the dang things all over the house and car when not in the field...and that helps get them past the boss at home. :D

But if I have to choose, make it CS...especially if it is based on an imported original!
