We're moving forward with the CS blanket reproduction. We are finished with researching the original and samples of the yarns have been sent to the yarn supplier to be exactly reproduced.

That's all the news that's fit to print!

That's exactly what happened with the original blanket. It was picked up off of a dead confederate soldier and used by a federal soldier.

None worth reporting. Folks, while I certainly appreciate the feedback and helping it direct the new project, you have to understand that any project such as this often takes many months, if not several years of development before the first item comes off the loom. You were all there for the beginning of the project, but the end result likely won't be there until toward the end of this year. So rest assured that as soon as there is something to report I will let everyone know, I certainly don't plan on sitting on a pile of blankets for very long!
