Friends,
While I'm in Cincinnati taking care of a family emergency I decided to do a little extra work to keep me from going nuts while spending most of my time indoors. I am working on four pairs of Confederate trousers cut from "vintage" Family Heirloom Weavers jeancloth or locally purchased materials. These have been cut out and kept bundled as kits for several years now so I think it's time to finish them up. Details for each pair are below but they are all made to the same standards as our usual "C.S. Enlisted Trousers." If I find some new fabrics that are suitable for additional pairs I will add to this post later. My contact information and purchasing details can be found at the bottom of the page.
Size 35" Waist:
1.) Royal Blue on Natural FHW jeancloth, lined with Ben Tart heavy cotton osnaburg. Original glass buttons and curved pocket openings. For some reason these are without the adjustment belts.
2.) Blue-Gray on Natural FHW jeancloth, lined with vintage cotton sheeting. Original glass buttons, curved pocket openings, and orignial prong buckle on the adjustment belt.
Size 37" Waist:
3.) Blue-Gray on Natural FHW jeancloth, lined with vintage cotton sheeting. Original glass buttons, curved pocket openings, and original prong buckle on the adjustment belt.
4.) Mixed Brown Wool Kersey, lined with vintage cotton sheeting. Wood buttons, mule-ear pockets with button closeure, and original prong buckle on the adjustment belt.
ALL TROUSERS ONLY $165 A PAIR, POSTAGE PAID.
As I stated above, I may be picking up additional Family Heirloom Weavers material and/or more locally purchased cloth such as demin, cassimere, satinet, etc.. Any other trousers I am able to cut out will be posted here. Photos of the current fabric offerings will be posted later today!
Anyone wishing to get in on this limited offer can e-mail me at floatingeyeofdeath@netzero.net or send me a private message here on the AC.
Thank you for your consideration and, as usual, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me!
