David Burt was kind enough to send me an advance notice of his new book. Given the interest here in Confederate imported British equipment I thought I might share the information with ya'all. I have not read it yet (its not out for a few more weeks) but David hails from England and apparently made extensive use of the McRae papers. I am excited! This should be a very interesting and educational read.
