    Announcement: Mansfield Civil War Show

    It's time again for the annual Ohio Civil War Show in Mansfield, OH. This weekend, College Hill Arsenal will be set up in the Fairhaven Building with the usual assortment of original muskets, rifles, handguns, bayonets, etc. Please come by and say "Hi". The show is open Saturday May 2 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday May 3 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Next to the Nashville show, I think this is the best CW show in the country!

    Forum member John Walsh from Fort Donelson Relics will be set up with me as well!

    Really erie seeing WWII stuff in the Hartz Building, and WWII German soldiers strolling among the crowd. Guess the Civil War alone is not draw enough any longer to sustain the show. One wonders if Federal Veterans of the Civil War saw Confederate reenactors, or vice versa, if it would have been as note worthy, starteling, or disturbing?
