Re: On Vacation
Lattes and sail boats. That is all Justin likes to do now that he is a big time sutler boy. His white linen suit he wears around the house kind of gets to me when I stay down there, but the 'southern plantation' voice he uses all the time is out of control! :DMitchell L Critel

He's probably taking a vacation from sutlering to go work double shifts at his regular jobs to make up for the money you lose in sutlering!Chris Utley

Re: On Vacation
What do you mean next time Galen:tounge_sm Might have already done that at Resaca, well just for the mouthy ones like Kirby! I am actually on a quest to find some original items to sell. I have been told that the North East is the land of Milk and Honey when it comes to finding original items at reasonable prices. We'll see.
I just hope they don't laugh at me when I wear my white plantation suit to go sailing around Kennebunkport!

Re: On Vacation
Maine is wonderful. Have fun and eat a lot of chowder for me. Visit the Joshua Chamberlain museum. Tell the Bushes in Kennebunkport I said hi. I accidentally came across their peninsula compound by myself on an early morning woods hike. Ooops. Wondered why there were so many video cameras mounted on the trees. Odd in my book. You may run into Barbara Bush in an antique store while you are shopping for wares. Don't make sudden movements by her as there will also be a guy with a gun close by. You can pick him out by the wire in his ear. Barbara and Terry Hatcher were shopping together buying a little 1950s frilly apron for Terry when I was there. Nice. Tell Terry I said hi if you see her. If you go sailing, try the Grace Bailey out of Camden. Also see if you can rent the captain's quarters. Having your own head in your cabin is worth every penny. The captain is a hard man, but the first mate is fun and can keep up with your period singing. You will be able to find a map of all the antique stores running down the coast from Kennebunkport to Kittery. Just follow it and shop. They have alot of trunks up there. I suggest opening them up to see if there are any contents. You may find an original Civil War uniform. That's how I got my FREE original 1864 rubberized haversack. Have fun. Call me if there are any great Civil War weapons you come across that I might want.
