    Don,

Your holsters and other similar goods are top notch. I really hope that you would continue to make holsters from time to time.

      I second that!

I have been saving up to purchase raincoat, but won't have all the funds collected until after the switch to "in stock."

Re: What items would you like to see In Stock?

        Hi All,

Keep the info & thoughts coming, I am taking notes & figuring what I'll dive into first for a short run for In Stock.

I had not though t of a regular run of rain coats. I'lll look into it & see what I will do....

I will probably make Knapsacks from time to time, not sure what pattersn aside from the standards.

Positively, the officer items ( their just fun to make)

I don't know about the tin items, It would be up to John Perteson if he woudl like to colaberate with me. I am definately up for it.

Most definately, I will keep on hand haversacks & accoutrements in general, as well as caps and uniform items.

I was thinking of having wallets on hand more & other small items that are period but not seen often

As for the USQM issue Fly. I have only made one for the NSR and won't make one again, It is a bear of a project, just due to the large volume of fabric that has to be sewn

            Don,
I was just a funnin' on the USQM fly. It is top shelf though. I'd also throw a vote out for wallets, suspenders, simple belts..items that aren't a huge investment. I love the 1847 patented ones i got from you.

Any of the English gear, CS belts and cap pouches, Federal haversacks/canteens, and CS caps with those excellent painted brims! I'd like a Spinlin (?) CS haversack too, just can't at the moment.

                        Don,

What about "Blanks" of trousers and RD II's or III's ... most of the garment sewn, with just the top stitching to do? OR ... as kits, with the parts cut out and instructions for completing it included?

I really like the private purchase items. They are getting harder and harder to get every day. I think suspenders always sell (I buy a pair every time I get new pants, lol). Good holsters are hard to come by. Most of the "in stock only" vendors keep the basics (sack coats, trowsers, shirts) on hand. They really don't keep the other non-issue basics in stock.
