We are pleased to announce a special limited run of Mike Anderson US Footman's Enlisted overcoats. Due to the limited nature of the kersey there will only be five of these coats available for purchase.

The coats are made from a special run of 22oz sky blue wool kersey made by Family Heirloom Weavers several years ago. They are lined in a special tan wool/cotton made for us by Family Heirloom Weavers. Based upon an original E. Tracy contract overcoat in a private collection, our reproductions come available with either tan or indigo blue thread.

Available in sizes 38-48. Please allow up to SIX MONTHS for delivery.

I own one of these coats and it is fantastic. The only one I have ever seen that matches it in quality is the one that Chris Daley produces. Dan's right, get it while you can. The sutler row coats just don't get it.

The ordering process is the same as one of our standard products. Call in, give us your card information (or send a check or Money Order) and we'll hold that until we're actually shipping the coat. Mike just wanted it known that these coats will likely take awhile because the school year is starting up for him and the THICK nature of the kersey makes it so that he really only wants to produce one of these things every couple of months!

I spoke with Mike about mounted overcoats but it sounds like it will eat up the kersey far too fast, and probably drive the price over $600.00.

Folks,

We have sold four of these overcoats, and Mike tells me that we have the material for just four more. Grab yours today, once this FHW kersey is gone that is it, there won't be any more! The finisher that did this heavy weight kersey for FHW went out of business in 2002, so don't wait on getting one of these coats and then bug me for one next year!

We have sent out the last overcoat and I was informed by Mike that we have enough material on hand for JUST ONE MORE in any size up to 46. Then this is it for the incredible FHW heavy weight kersey. Every coat that Mike has put together for this run has been incredible and every person that ordered one has sent a message saying how much they like theirs. So if you were on the fence and bummed that you missed out now is your chance to grab the very last one!

I would just like to say that my purchase of the W,W & Co./ Mike Anderson coat has been a stellar purchase for reasons above and beyond my expectations. Due to a misspent youth laying brick and a few years as an MOS Combat Engineer I developed what the medical profession calls "Gorilla Arms esp. at the shoulders". Without making this caveat, I ordered the coat by my chest size. When the coat came, it was perfect in quality but my arms could not bring a musket to fire without fear of tearing the sleeves out. When I contacted Dan he put me in touch with Mike, who reworked the coat for me. I just received my coat and must say that it has surpassed all expectations and is first rate. The quality is lauded by other owners, and to this I agree...but the service given by W,W, & Co. as well as Mike is some of the best I've encountered.
