  • Announcement: Bummers

It is with much anguish that I must announce that Ezra Barnhouse Goods will not be at Bummers. As some of you know, John has been ill the past year. Last week he developed a severe cough which turned out to be pneumonia. He has been in the hospital since Wednesday and it looks to be a few days till he is released. I have gone back and forth trying to decide if I should attend on Friday in order to honor our commitment to our customers. However, it is a full day drive down & then back and I feel that I cannot be that far away from John for 3 days when he is so ill. To everyone who inquired about merchandise that would be for sale there, we are so sorry to let you down. John & I have always prided ourselves on standing by our word, especially when we committed to attend an event. We feel however, that you all will understand and will continue to place your trust in us.

    Sincerely,
    Beth Crabb

Beth, rest assured that you made the right decision. Sometimes we have to set priorities and he is your priority right now. Take care and I hope he recovers soon.

Family comes first. This is still just a hobby.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
We will see you both at the next one.

I am sure everyone will understand and support your decision. I will keep John in my thoughts for a quick recovery. If there is anything I or the WIG can do please let me know.
