    Can,t Wait to see mine,

A quick comment on the blanket fraying my Julius Jones blanket has only frayed around 3 inches so they don,t just keep going , leave it to fray i say.

      Gents,

I have my two and you will not be disappointed. Just a fine example of a quality piece in every way. The look and feel is second to none as far as repo gear goes. No CS impression is complete without one of these.

Here are a few photos of the blankets being made and the aftermath of the snow storm that hit Gettysburg. Enjoy!

            Joke mode...

"If those who have already received their blanket, stop bad attitude with those who have not received him yet... :( :) :) :)
And now then the snow to Gettysburg... in Paris also has some snow..." ;) :)

Thanks Dan and Brian's for pictures and for prolong the dream ;)

              Excellent blanket!
I must also add in the holiday spirit, durn clever that Confederate procurement designed a blanket that fit into a USPS Priority Mail box. Some foresight!

Re: CS Blankets are finally here!

Funny thing, I was reading things here wondering what day will my blanket come (with the above mentioned snowstorms and all the effect on things here in DC) when my wife came through the door with the big white box!
Thanks guys for all the hard work and everything you went through to get them out to us. This made my Christmas. I can't wait to use this blanket.
                  Awesome job,

It never ceases to amaze me that people who were 2,600 highway miles from where we mailed the boxes are receiving their packages at the same time as people who are an hour and a half's drive away. Oh well, that's the postal service for you!

I can't decide...is it a good thing that us folks on the other side of the country got our blankets at the same time as those on the east coast OR is it a bad thing that those on the east coast got theirs the same time as us? :D

I procrastinated about this blanket since I have so many. Showed my wife the picture next to the original, showed her this thread and she said "Call Dan". As luck had it, he had one I could buy. It came today and was everything all the others said.
But now my dilemna - It is Christmas eve, raining, I have a perfectly dry living room with a fireplace, so why this desire to go in the back yard and sleep under my shelter half with my new blanket?
