Friends and Comrades;
We've just posted our "Item of the Month" special for the month of April, period civilian shirts by Todd Morris. These very high quality shirts are made from 100% cotton material by Pat Kline of Family Heirloom Weavers. Colors and patterns will vary. Buttons are of glass, porcelain, or natural mother of pearl or abalone. These shirts are machine sewn with hand flat felled seams and hand worked button holes. Shirts have a double placket and 4" band collar, and are patterned from examples found in "The Work Woman's Guide" circa 1838, "Thoughts on Men's Shirts in America, 1750-1900" by William Brown, and from patterns drawn from the study of several vintage original Civil War era pieces from various collections.
Shirts are available in sizes S, M, L, XL, and XXL.
These shirts normally sell on our website for $70.00, but for the month of April we are offering these shirts at $65.00
