THE AUTHENTIC CAMPAIGNER IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE OUR NEWEST APPROVED VENDOR - CIVIL WAR DIGITAL DIGEST!

"Civil War Digital Digest was created in 2015 by Jeremy Bevard and Will Eichler. With over 50 episodes already available, this bi-weekly series is designed to help viewers gain a greater connection to our shared Civil War history by demonstrating aspects of it in video. Quality in both research and HD video production are stressed in all our efforts. Though being designed for a wider audience, living historians are at the core of our market. Episode topics cover a wide range of aspects of daily life for men and women, North and South.

As the Digest grows, plans are in the works for biographies and even narrative episodes to be shot. Join us every other Wednesday for a new episode. Stay informed when new content is added by subscribing to our YouTube channel and watching here on the A/C!"

"We are excited to join the Authentic Campaigner community as an approved vendor. Both of us have been members here for many years. We’re proud to commit funds to help continue this great source for research and communication in the hobby.

Civil War Digital Digest is a business. We say that because it has come as a surprise to many of our friends. It takes a many hours, significant technical skill, and a decent chunk of money to make these episodes happen. Still, this is something new around the living history hobby. It’s easy for you to know how to support a uniform vendor. Let us explain how you can support us.

First, watch the episodes that interest you. This costs you nothing and is a large part of our mission. When you do, it helps us if you let them run to the end. Watch time means a lot in the YouTube world. If you enjoyed the episode, hit the like button there on YouTube. We sure appreciate all the support we’ve received here and on Facebook. However, the like button on YouTube is taken into account when they decide how much ad revenue to share with us

Second, tell someone about us. We believe that our base of living historians are the strongest voice for American Civil War history in the nation today! Please use that voice. The Digest is growing and we want to reach a lot more people than current living historians. Do you know a history teacher? Please tell them about us. How about a history buff who will never take the field with us? Same thing. Feel free to share either the website or the YouTube page, as you prefer.

Stay in touch directly with us. Join our email list. We promise to use it sparingly (only twice so far in all of 2017) and not to sell or give away your email address. If you are on the list, you will know first when we have new items or events coming up. Email list members had their own drawing this spring. Sign up for the email list at: (Click Here)

Finally, it does take money to produce these episodes. If you are enjoying the value you are receiving, there are two ways to help us financially. The first is via Patreon. At the end of the day, Patreon becomes a subscription service for people who support us. There are a range of levels of monthly support you can choose from. The lowest tier equates to buying us a cup of coffee (not the frilly stuff, just plain, black coffee) per episode. When we cross fundraising milestones there, we’ve set up regular contributions to historic preservation. Patreon members also get access to a few extra videos made especially for them. Find out about Patreon at: (Click Here)

There are a few more things we will share with you in the upcoming weeks, but that’s enough for now. Thank you for the support! We are constantly looking for more and better ways to help you connect with our nation’s history!

    See you around a campfire.

    Will and Jeremy

We are both excited to be supportive and be supported by the community here. Below are a few popular playlists and my favorites. There is some great info in there to learn about rations, clothing, and civilian life. Of course, each will continue to grow with new content over time.

    Rations & Recipes

    Civilian Topics

    Uniforms

    Civil War Farming
This is a new playlist that has more to come.
    Respectfully,
