    Re: Preservation Parcels

    Kathy,

I recieved my sleeping cap & comfort/nessecary kit today. Both are great! The cap fits like a glove. I will be sleeping with a very warm head at Cedar Creek. Thanks again for a great item and the gift to preservation.

      Re: Preservation Parcels

Received my parcel with a sleeping cap and comfort/necessity kit in good order yesterday. The workmanship and quality are outstanding - the chance to support preservation was just icing on the cake. Thanks for this great opportunity!

        Mrs. Bradford,
I noticed on the approved vendors page that there is a discount for law enforcement. Is this extended to volunteer fire fighters and rescue crew members? Not that I am not considering purchasing your products, especially in the name of preservation, but you can't blame a guy for asking.

          Terence,

Thanks for asking. I deeply appreciate all who serve and protect our liberty and freedom, and the answer is by all means, yes.

Good luck in college as the new semester begins.

              Kathy,

Received the Confederate Housewife on Saturday, thank you for reserving it for me. I'm actually looking forward to doing some "field repairs"!

                Many Thanks!

Thanks to all who purchased items during August. Although it was only one week, $206.25 has gone to preservation. The first $45 went to ACPP, and $161.25 went to Morris Island. Thank you, too, to all who sent messages of appreciation. I hope you're all warm and comfortable, and that all your buttons stay on!

There will be more to come in a couple of days. For September, 25% of all proceeds will go to Franklin through the SFBT and ACPP.

stitch by stitch, acre by acre

                With much appreciation,

                    John,

Thanks for asking. I'm finishing several things this weekend, and I hope to post them in a new thread on Monday. Please feel free to send a PM or e-mail if you're interested in something particular. Meanwhile, I hope Ivan leaves you alone and that you stay high and dry.

                      Re: Preservation Parcels

One neat thing Kathy did in mine was include a checkers set made from a roll of painted cloth marked with squares and wooden checkers - the pieces are divided into lighter wood and the other darker for differentiation. Has it's own handsewn bag. It works!

Get a kit and support preservation, a 1000 and 1 uses - besides the obvious quality items, the talcum bag is particularly useful - beats sneaking off to the woods after a march to use that Gold Bond on a July afternoon :wink_smil

As always Kathy, thanks for all you do for the cause.
