Re: What Items would you like to see made?

    Don,

While I have it in mind...how about a CORRECT 1833 enlisted fatigue cap(I know there is not much demand for this cap...but one would sure be kewl)! And great about working with Steve Abolt. I doubt he remembers me from my Mexican War days..but I sure remember his great rendition of E. A. Poe's "Eldorado" and "The Raven" at Bents Old Fort about 20 years ago! Those were the days.....

            Hi Preston,

Man I need to read more carefully. I apologize. For some reason or another I was thinking "Volunteer jacket" and not SA Jacket

It is a great suggestion. I will look into making these, as I do make these for folks custom SA & St Louis Mounted jackets.

            Sorry about the mix up

                Hi All,

Well, the Fly has been added, (see my post on the Fly here on the Vendors Announcemtns)

Keep the suggestions coming. What other items would you like to see offerd by Trans-Mississippi Depot Co?

How about quality knit federal undershirts? They constituted over 60% of issued shirt and yet virtually no one (aside from Joe H) is producing them.

Don, one more I thought of. Now that Daley is no longer offering mounted pattern trousers, the list of vendors making them is VERY short.
