  • Period Music

    Friends and Comrades;

    While not an announcement regarding actual equipment or gear, I invite you to review our updated selection of Period Music. I offer these selections as a research tool for the historian and educator. Delving into the culture itself, with non-material things is just as important in our portrayal and understanding of the people and their views during the 19th century. Our offerings of period music have been specifically collected to only represent those of accurate renditions of songs from Antebellum America. All performances on all of these CD's and tapes were made using original sheet music, as well as only period correct instruments, played in period fashion. You will not find any steel string banjos or "Old Timey" stuff here. Never before have we seen such talented musicians as well as knowledgeable historians gathered together in one place. All "doing it right". Please take a look.
    Just follow the PERIOD MUSIC link from our front page at http://www.orchardhillsutlery.com
