    1 MB1 Militia Web Belt with Rectangular Brass Plate (1820-1900)
    Commonly encountered in period pre war and early war images. This belt is made from a correct weave militia web copied from an original in my collection, picked up off of Manassas battlefield.
    The plate itself is a sheet brass square, self-adjusting plate, with two tines on the back of the plate that go into the webbing to secure it. The other end has a brass wire keeper for the buckle to attach to…………………..$50.00


    1 WB1 Civilian Laborer or Miners Utility Waist Belt, (1820-1900), Various styles.
    These belts were used by workmen & soldiers, instead of braces (suspenders). For the Laborer or Miner. Made of period correct waist belt web copied from the original in our collection, hand dyed blue with Documented Civilian “Spoon & Wreath” Utility plate, depicting a miner digging with a pick, I offer these in several styles………….……..… $55.00

    1 MCBB1 Militia Web Box Belt, (1820-1900)
    Web belting was an inexpensive way for a militia regiment or organization to look military with out the expense of white buff leather. Used by several state Militias North & South. This box belt is made either to button onto the back of a militia box or with a leather end to attach to the buckles on most cartridge boxes………………………………………………………$30.00

    3 CSCBB4 Hughes Pendergrass & Snow Web Box Belt. (1862-65)
    A unique wide heavy web box belt that is incredibly strong. It saw use in the Army of Tennessee & Army of Northern Virginia………………$40.00





    HAVERSACKS

    2 USH4 U.S. State issue “Ohio” Blue Line Duck Haversack
    (1861-65)
    The “blue line” gets its name from the blue thread that runs along the selvage edge of the duck used in the flap of the haversack. It was made by various states for their volunteers. This bag is entirely period machine sewn per the Pat 1851 Wilson rolling hook mechanism the bag is un unpainted and is aprox. 10 ½” X 10”, it comes with Inspectors stamp on the flap………………………………………………………………..…….$35.00

    CANTEEN SLINGS

    14 USCS1 U.S. Leather Canteen Sling, Russet Hand Sewn (1858-1872)
    Replacing the tin drum type canteen. The regulation canteen for the Federal Army just previous to the war became the Model 1858 Tin oblate spheroid canteen. This is the regulation canteen sling that was first issued with this canteen. Made of russet oiled leather5/8” wide and 72” long with a thing gauge iron roller buckle, hand sewn with leather keeper and a “chape” or “safe” sewn behind it………………………………………..$30.00


    5 CSCS5 Confederate Cotton Web Canteen Sling, With Iron Roller Buckle (1861-65)
    As Seen in the Canteen Book by Silvia & O’Donnell on “Gardner” Canteens
    And on C.S. Tin Drum and Captured Canteens. This strap features a 7/8” iron wire roller buckle secured with a leather end piece, that is saddle stitched to the web strap. The buckle adjusts by working the tongue thought the web………………………………………………………..$25.00


    17 CSCS6 Confederate, Hughes Pendergrass & Snow Web Canteen Sling (1862-65)
    Made by the firm Hughes Pendergrass & Snow for the Confederate government. This sling is seen in Echoes of Glory CS & Silvia & O’Donnell’s Canteen book on C.S. Tin Drum & captured U.S. Canteens. It is made with a leather end piece with a buttonhole punched in it. Hand sewn to the webbing with a leather button sewn to the other end. Simple and effective……………………………………………….………………$25.00

    WALLETS

    1 W1B The “Common Style Wallet” (c1850-1865)
    This wallet being 6” x 3” closed is based off of a similar original wallet as seem in Echoes of Glory US Identified to Pvt Stephen Henry Leonard of the 3rd Mass Cav. It is one of the most common styles encountered. It has two pockets with a divided top pocket for papers. It is a good-sized wallet good for carrying paper money, small letters and documents. This wallet is period machine sewn using Allen Wil0son’s Pat 1851 Oscillating Hook Mechanism, sewn as per the original…………………………………………….………$45.0

    The following items are well researched and made by NIC CLARK. Utilizing period techniques& sewing. They are copied from a variety of sources, including Originals and Period Photographs






    1 CS or US Guerilla Over shirt ( Blue & red), Size 36-42" Chest
    This shirt is made from an idigo dyed cotton denim weave fabric, but it's as soft as flannel. The collars and cuffs are made from red wool. There are no funcitioning cuffs on this shirt, but rather the entire sleeves are made like jacket sleeves. There are four brass coin buttons with a single pearl button at the neck. The entire shirt is lined in white cotton sheeting and was sewn using an 1850s Wilcox and Gibb chain stitch machine, using logwood dyed thread, with hand sewn button holes. $195

    1 Blue Bib Front Shirt Made from a dark blue homespun cotton, this shirt has a single button closure at the neck which is covered by a removable bib front. The bib front is edged in red cotton and was sewn onto the bib by hand. The rest of the shirt has been sewn using a period machine stitch, with hand sewn button holes. White shell buttons finishes this simple, but yet very flashing and stylish shirt. $125

    1 Ark Jacket
    This jacket was made based upon an orignial photo of an Arkansas volunteer. The fabric for this jacket is a 50/50 hemp/linen. The sky blue trim was applied entirely by hand. The jacket is lined in light weight cotton sheeting and the buttons are hand forged brass civilian buttons. This jacket was sewn using a period machine stitch, with hand sewn buttons holes. $250

    1 Ark Trousers
    Made from the same 50/50 hemp/linen fabric as the jacket, these trousers were also sewn using a period machine stitch, with hand sewn button holes. Size 33x34. $100

    1 CS Artillery Jacket
    Made from indigo dyed cotton demin, this jacket is perfect for those Deep South impression. The collar and cuffs are piped with red chording, and finished with block A buttons. However, this jacket is also ideal for other, non-artillery impressions, as well. One example is the State of Mississippi and how early in the War the color red was used for infantry. Sewn using a period machine stitch, finished with hand sewn button holes. $250


    1 12th LA Jacket Based upon photographic observations made of soldiers within the 12th Louisiana Infantry in 1861, this jacket is made from indigo dyed cotton demin and trimmed on the cuff with black wool tape. There are non-functioning epulettes, finished with brass coin buttons. Although based upon photos of the 12th Louisiana, this jacket would work for any Deep South impression, from Louisiana to Florida. This jacket is period machine stitched with hand sewn button holes. $250

    Several Sets! Poor Boy Suspenders
    Made according to the Watchdog article several years ago, these "poor boy" suspenders are made from a variety of historically correct fabrics, as well as out-of-print historical reproduction fabrics from the Smithsonian and American Folk Museum. All suspenders are 100% hand sewn and unlike sutler row varieties, where there are multiple button holes, these suspenders come with only one button hole on each end, as per the style of those reviewed by the Watchdog. Upon purchase of a pair of these suspenders, if you provide your measurments from the back button on your trousers, up and over your should to where your front button is located, the second button hole will be cut and sewn to your measurments, thus giving you a custom pair of "poor boy" suspenders. $40

    1 Houston Haversack
    This haversack is a copy of an original hanging on display in the Texas Civil War Museum, located in Fort Worth, Texas. This haversack is made from medium weight cotton and is 100% hand sewn. The crude stitching seen on this haversack is a copy of how the original was sewn. Haversack comes complete with large, black wooden button, which again is a copy of the original. $40


    1 Linen Shot Bag
    This is a 100% hand sewn linen shot bag for those Early War Confederate impressions. Loosly based upon a surviving example of a linen shot bag used by a member of the Missouri State Guard, this bag has pockets and pouches for your cartridges, cap and cleaning tools. It closes with a large wooden button, and the bag is finished with cotton webbing. $100
