  • Original Enfield Hammers for sale

    I have had the good fortune to locate three original Enfield rifle musket hammers. All are in good usable condition. I will be adding them to my web sit in the middle of next week, but again, I wanted to give the A/C first crack at them. The prices below include shipping. On the web site they will be slightly higher in price and shipping will be charged, so if you want one, act before I add them to my site, to save yourself some money.

    You may mail payment to me or call me to use your credit card. PLEASE e-mail me at tim@collegehillarsenal.com to reserve your items, rather than posting here. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. If you are mailing payment, please send it to me at;

    Tim Prince
    College Hill Arsenal
    PO BOX 178204
    Nashville, TN 37217

    If you want to use Visa/MC/AMX please call me at 615-972-2418 so I can process your card.

    Here they are (see pictures below):

    #FPTA-1141A SOLD
    A nice Birmingham made P-1853 hammer with double line engraving, good checkering and "feathers" on the hammer. $50.00 including shipping.

    #FPTA-1141B ON HOLD
    A good looking London made hammer (no "feathers"). There is a very small chip on the under side of the nose of the hammer, but this should in no way effect usability. A good hammer if you are doing a London maker P-1853 like a Bond, Potts & Hunt or Barnett. $45.00 including shipping.

    #FPTA-1141C SOLD
    Another nice Birmingham hammer. $50.00 including shipping.

      For those wondering if these will just "drop into" their reproduction guns, well probably not. In fact the darn reproduction parts are so out of tolerance that they often need to be fit to each other as well.

      All of these hammers will have to be fit to the reproduction tumblers. If you are handy with a file, it should not take more than an hour or so. You might get lucky but chances are you will need to do some metal work.
