Hi,
The canteen body is Hot Dipped and the upper stove is plated, all the stoves come with a stopper and wick. the stove top is 6" tall so one could put a candle in it.
They are numbered (GT 1 thru 15) I have been looking at them in the canteen book for a few years and now is the time to make them.

Thanks allot, I try to make everything look as close to original as I can.

Don't forget to follow the instructions that came in the box.

The next thing down the pike will be Convex CS drum Filter canteens.

Please let me know when you are closer to completion of the filter canteen. That is something else on the wish list LOL......With the job you did on the Canteen Lantern/Stoves, im sure the filter canteen will be great also.

I don't suppose you could actually cook anything on the stove could you? Could you perhaps boil something? We've got a burning ban here in NC:cry_smile so I need to figure out how to cook rations without being arrested:wink_smil.

Hi Andrew,

This little stove is more for light than cooking. It will keep a cup of coffee warm , but mainly this lamp / stove gives light, as the original did
