My cap helped keep me warm at New Madrid, and I highly reccomend them. Comfy and well made.

PS-Kathy, at a knapsack inspection at New Madrid, the Captain found the housewife I got from you here on the boards. He complimented me on its quality and asked where I got it. "My Aunt Kathy made it for me before I left" was my reply. So now, you have a new nephew, lol. :D

            Ron,

Welcome to the family! The more nephews, the merrier, and Thanksgiving dinner is one of the best meals you'll have all year.:wink_smil

I'm glad you stayed warm at New Madrid, and I hope you never lose a button. Seriously, thank you for your support for preservation.

Gonna hold out a little longer... Hoping for one of the green wool varieties you've had in the past; in the larger mellon range.

                    Re: Sleeping Caps for Spring!

Here is the next run, cut out and ready to sew. Does this green one strike your fancy, Marc? The green is a bit darker in real life.

I really appreciate when people speak up. It helps with the planning.

                    Thank you,

Not sure of the lining on the Top Left one. Is the Bottom Left one a green too?

                        Re: Sleeping Caps for Spring!

The one on the bottom is shades of brown and black. Do you prefer greens that lean toward more yellow or more blue shades? This may sound a bit silly, but what color are your eyes? That will make a difference which colors suit you best. I'll cut out more over the weekend.

                        Thanks again,

Oh Kathy you're making me blush...lol :o My eyes are brown (lighter).

I always lean towards more of the "fall" colors. Darker greens, blues, browns and maroon.

                          Thanks,

                            Marc,

Here are some choices with two different pieces of dark green wool. Anything interesting to you? The wool on the left is a bit darker, and the fabrics in the middle are all cotton or linen.

The last sleeping cap is reserved. The wine and gray and the blue and blue ones are still available.

                              Thank you.
