Re: Ben Tart
Just thought that I would throw a plug in here too. I too have a Commutation Jacket from Ben and it is great quality. The service was great and fast. Hats off to one of the hobbies best vendors.Seth Graves

Re: Ben Tart
I've bought several items from Ben Tart, latest was a Weller Overcoat, he used his blue jean, I supplied the hard rubber buttons. ( see his website for a very good price) It also has a wool lining. I've tried it on cold nights and it is really warm. His service is top notch!.

Re: Ben Tart
I recieved my Weller hooded overcoat yesterday from Ben. He made it from a summac undyed wool mix and lined it with undyed tight woven wool. I am VERY impressed with the quality. I had him leave the bottons and button holes to me as well as the top stitching and pocket works making the price even more unbelievable! Ben you did a fantastic job! Great service and a great product! Highly recommended to anyone!Luke Gilly

Re: Ben Tart
Jared,
I spoke with Ben yesterday and he said that he made a mistake while updating it and it crashed. I'm pretty sure he has backups so once he has some time it will probably be back.

Re: Ben Tart
I have purchased several times from Ben and I have found that he is of the finest disposition. I have no personal reservations about ordering anything from him. His material made quite a few of the 3rd Louisiana uniforms that we used at the Pea Ridge Anniversary.Matthew S. Laird

I echo Dan's comment I spoke to him today and he said "I made a mistake and blew up my site." Great work and a great Guy.

Re: Ben Tart
My kids took me to the Gettysburg 2005 re-enactment after my return from deployment. While at the event, Ben was there, and also made me an NC sack coat, there! Talk about service. Took three days. great vendor.
