Folks,

Please don't draw the above conclusion from the sentiments expressed in this thread. Ben is pursuing some job opportunities in the historic preservation field, and his available time for sewing and dyeing cloth is constantly shrinking. Couple that with the fact that sources for good fabric are drying up every day Ben is dealing with more calls than ever and anyone would have trouble keeping up with all of them.

I think Ben and Kiev have made an excellent decision to partner up, and that shows that he's aware that folks are having trouble reaching him and he's taking real steps to solve the situation.

So I would suggest that people just continue to bear with him and the situation will get better, phone calls will be returned and he will continue to produce top quality fabrics for years to come. And if you do get a chance to talk with him on the phone or in person, take a few seconds to tell him how much you appreciate the work he does. I do.

Good point....he needs our kind words right now. With out going into it to much. He is getting nailed on the home front. So those that are waiting on cloth ....you will get it. He just got some in from the mill. We are waiting on the rest of the shippment. I will post here on the AC when it is all accounted for. I will be set up at Olustee taking some orders and maybe with some trousers and jackets and socks. If the cloth is in I will have some or be taking orders for it. We are still working the bugs out so please bare with us.

I am now taking orders for shell jacket blanks and trouser blanks from Ben Tart. Jackets of Bark or varigated(tiger stripe) are $125 plus shipping and trousers from the same are $85 plus shipping.

I also have socks...natural are $6 per pair plus shipping and I have some that are brown and iron dye. They are $15 plus shipping

I also have 4 yards ready to ship of the Tiger jeans brown wool on natural cotton. $26 per yard plus shipping.

I am waiting on a shippment of stock jackets and trousers and cloth.

Ben showed me some of his new Varigated jean cloth, looks even better than his old stuff! The color distribution Varigation is distributed in smaller amounts! It looked very nice!

The Tiger jeans is sold . The socks are gone also. I have one shell jacket size 42 in stock. RD2 Blank. Needs buttons and holes done. Its a dark gray dyed jeans. $125 plus shipping.
