Today I just picked up a set of early war leathers (cartridge box, belt, cap pouch, and bayonet scabbard) from E.J. Thomas Merchantile. I must say, everything was excellent. Going from 10 year old Jarnigan leathers to these, there is NO comparison. Everything was done on time. Handsewn with period dye, the leathers look and feel absolutly phenominal. Bill was a pleasure to deal with. He always returned my calls and spent a long time on the phone discussing what I would like to purchase. He really took his time to help me pick out what would be best for my impression. Today when i picked them up, he spend over an hour and a half discussing different cartridge boxs and other items in his store with me. He even took the time to show me a few different original cartridge box varients. I can't wait to do business with him again! If you are in the need for any accoutrement products E.J. Merchantile is definately the place to go. I can't say enough, absolutly first class.
