Just wanted to thank Pat Kline for the awesome deal he gave me on a carpet blanket at Gettysburg this weekend.
As to be expected, the craftsmanship is outstanding! Though it is "almost" too nice to take to the field. It will add a unique addition to my impression when used as a bedroll. Practically speaking it should prove quite warm as it is significantly heavier than any of my current blankets while not being to stiff to perform my intended purpose.
Pat had several remnants of narrow stair runners on hand in lengths sufficient to cut and seam together lengthwise to achieve the width required for a blanket, for those interested. He was also offering killer deals on close out fabrics.
