  • Gary Remy ... Remy Woodworks ... Boxes, Crates and Officer Desks

    Gents,

I had the pleasure of communicating with Gary Remy this morning. From those that know him, he makes outstanding period boxes, crates and officer's desks. Hurricane Katrina had put him out of business, but he is back. His email is remywoodworks@hotmail.com and his cell (I got his permission to post this) is 608-335-6375. He doesn't have a catalog right now, but each piece he makes is thoroughly researched and documented. I know those that have seen his work will vouch for him.

Moderators ... I'm not sure this is the right place to post this so feel free to re direct it.
    Best Regards,

I would second what Mr. Mitchum has said.

Gary’s craftsmanship is superb and supported by years of research. I am lucky enough to have one of his pieces in my collection and would highly recommend his work.

Thank you for posting Gary's contact information. I also have one of his pieces. He really does great work and is a nice guy to do business with.
