  • A tree fell on my shop

Last Thursday afternoon (June 24) a violent storm passing through uprooted a tree that landed on my shop. No one was hurt, but it looks like the shop may have to be rebuilt from the foundation up.

I don't actually do much work at the shop, I use it mostly for finishing books and storing paper. So any paper, stationery, and forms orders are not impacted. I still have lots of books lying around, so those are available too. I am currently checking into alternatives for cutting and folding paper.

I'm still in business, and don't intend to have a small thing like a giant tree falling on my shop to slow me down.

I've posted a picture of what my shop looks like now on my site. http://www.sullivanpress.com

Good luck, Bob! A tree fell on my dad's shop several years ago and he never fully recovered or rebuilt.

Bob, Really sorry to hear this. A tree fell on my fathers plank/rail fence and totally knocked out about 120 feet. I hate pine trees more than anything. I tell my father and brother, we should not allow them to grow anyplace except back on the tree farm.
