  • Corner Clothiers - The Unsung Leatherwork of Brian Merrick

Corner Clothiers is on the vendor list of a lot of different groups for their quality civilian clothing. However, Speedy also does really great leatherwork!

I ordered a holster from him at the end of May. Also, I had a pair of suspenders made by Lucas Berg that needed repair. Brian told me to expect the order to be done around the end of June. They arrived yesterday, right on time!

The holster is based on an original that Brian examined (he was kind enough to show me photos of the original) and is very well made with great hand-stitching. The pistol fits in the holster p-e-r-f-e-c-t-l-y.

I was really pleased that Brian was willing to repair the suspenders for me, even though he didn't make them. Thank you, Brian!

    John,

You got a picture? Would love to see it. What type pistol is it for?

Nope, but I'll see what I can do. The holster is a full-flap holster of black leather with an "English style" closure (finial on the flap, rather than the holster body) and the barrel-end closed with a round "plug".

The pistol is a 2nd Generation '62 Colt Pocket Police.
