This is to apprise the forum of Kiev Thomason's cap-making talents and service.
Upon a request for a recommendation for a quality vendor of caps, a friend referred me to Kiev Thomason, of the Traveling Man's Emporium.
When I called, Kiev enthusiastically described his caps, the options with construction and materials. After reviewing my needs, Kiev took my order for a cap made of indigo-dyed satinet with an iron-dyed visor and false chinstrap.
About two weeks later--and earlier than expected--the cap arrived. It's stunning. It fits perfectly. The masterful details are pleasing to my eye, from the hand-set pigskin sweatband to its shape, given it by an original Confederate kepi block from Richmond.
I have attached a pictures of the cap.
