  • Maki's Boxes

I was going through some of my files from the late 80's and early 90's the other day. So many good vendors are no longer amongst the living vendor-wise, but a few still are. I have not seen or heard Maki's Boxes discussed on here, since my return to CW last year. Is he still in business? That man made some wonderful goods for living history sites and groups.

    Warren,

John Maki is still around, and, I believe, still making boxes on order. He works at the Battle of Lexington SHS and lives nearby in Alma, Missouri.

You're right- you can't hardly go to a historic site without seeing a Maki box!

Thanks Kip, do you have contact information for him? (Snail mail or e-mail?) I loved his work back in the day.
