Is Clearwater Hats still in business? I've been out of the market for a little while, but now find myself in need of a beehive hat, hopefully black... Looking through some of my old favorites, but their web site doesn't appear to have been updated since back in 2009...

How about Tim Bender as an alternative source?

As to the second part of your question, Tim Bender is a wonderful source for hats and turns out very high quality products.

I like Tim Bender, both Jonathan's and my Hardees are from him, although we neither one wore them last weekend when you were with us! I thought Clearwater Hats was at Vicksburg/Raymond, right across from Joe Blunt if I remember my vendors correctly. I think Cal would tell you Bender too.

Tim Bender is tops in from my experience. I've ordered 3 hats from him, and I've never had a problem. He is very easy to get a hold of, and the wait time is usually not too bad. He'll let you know if he is swamped with orders.

Clearwater is in business. They were at the Raymond event in October.

I would strongly recommend Tim Bender as well! Tims hats are first rate and turnaround time can't be beat. I have three of his hats. Clearwater has some great hats too but WAIT TIMES CAN BE MUCH LONGER than you want to wait for a hat. Also, Tim Allen is still in business. You can get his hats exclusively through S&S in Gettysburg. Tim Allen's hats need no introduction here. Everyone knows his hats are amazing.

You can't go wrong with Tim Bender. In my opinion he makes the best Hardee in the hobby, and the rest of his products mirror that sane quality.
