I purchased a lined blanket from Dan and Brian at Perryville. They said it would keep me warm on cold dewy nights on top of the Kentucky rolling hills. It sure did. I worried at first as it was very light... The top layer is just dark blue yard good wool, while the bottom layer is a light osnaburg. It did it's job for sure. So much that I layed my Chas Childs federal issue blanket under me and used the civilian lined blanket as my top sheet. It is well worth the price and a real pleasure to carry. Their website says 4.5 pounds but I doubt it weighs that much! I have done business with the fellows ever since they were first starting up the company and to this day have never been disappointed! Bully Job B'hoys!

Dan and Brian do excellent work, I tryed not to put all of my eggs in one basket as far as clothing goes, anymore I just buy from them. Their work has always been first rate, with no shortcuts taken. I have yet to be disappointed.Last edited by boozie; 10-25-2006, 08:08 AM.sigpic
