Want to praise Tim for a superb job reproducing an English made cartridge box copied from the original in the Wisconsin vets museum (the Thaxton box). Based on photos of the original, this is another superb performance by Tim, and as usual, the price is more than fair. See the side by side here: http://www.ldhaning.com/thaxton.html

As we learn more and more about the larger amounts and earlier than believed importation of English accouterments, uniforms and such, I would expect to see more and more represented in the field. As far as I know, Tim is the only approved vendor currently advertising these for sale.

I got my English box from Tim in October. Your are right, the workmanship and attention to detail thats involved is amazing.

Tim is just top notch, both as far as service (helluva nice guy), and products. I've been eyeing one of those Thaxton boxes and now I guess I'll need to order one, thanks for the info on how good they are!
