I wanted to relay my experience with Chris Utley to you all.
I ordered a pair of trowsers, a vest, and a sack coat from Chris back in the late summer.
The items arrived, and the coat fit perfect, the vest was a little sung, and the pants were too big. We weren't sure of the pants size but thought we'd give them a try.
I sent the items back to Chris. He had run out of the material with which the pants were made. He found a couple of fabrics he thought I would like and e-mailed me samples.
He then sent me some pairs of trowsers and a couple of vest to try on. I tried on all the stuff and decided which pants fit best, and that the original vest he sent fit best. I sent all the items back with a check for what it cost him to ship them to me, at which point he admonished me for sending him more money...and advised me he would get the original vest back in the mail, and get the pants made.
He mailed me the original vest back, and set to work on a pair of pants of the same pattern as the ones that fit well, and in the fabric I had selected.
He PM'd me to let me know the pants are almost done and I should have them for our next little local event.
All of this, and a full time plus some job that keeps him on the go constantly.
If you want the most superb items, and customer service from a vendor...consider Chris among the best in the business...not that there aren't others...but he ranks among the top.
I will definitely deal with Chris for future items and know without a doubt he will make the experience a pleasent one.
