I've said it a hundred times, and it's due once more. Nick Duvall makes some of the very best reproductions of original leather accoutrements ever offered!
My Dad just got a full set of accoutrements in the mailbox today which includes a pattern 1839 US cartridge box, an entirely hand-sewn shield front cap box, 2-rivet bayonet scabbard with a waxed flesh frog, waxed flesh box sling and waist belt. The cartridge box replicates the photos of the original Nick e-mailed me with the highest level of accuracy from the construction details and the unique feature of later added (to the original) riveted belt loops. And the rest of the traps reflect, again, with very high accuracy a number of originals I have seen and handled.
There are very few people out there that make accoutrements at this level, but believe when I say that while a couple (and I stress a couple) might be as good, nobody is better!
