Uh, everyone... did I miss the conversation or is Otter Creek Tinware's link not on the Forum's approved list anymore?

I ran the search engine as a precaution, but couldn't find anything about it if it was discussed.

I think John is still in business... right?

    Thanks -John Lloyd

Uh... what? Oh... the banner ad... might be a hangover on the site from when he was on the list...

I certainly don't see the name "Otter Creek Tinware" on the "Approved Vendor" section here.

Was this a casualty of the recent shenanigans and discussions?

        Johnny,

Can't say (and don't care to) about any of the politics. I can say that I'm really happy with the filter canteen I got from Otter Creek that was done in co-operation with Trans-Mississippi Depot. It came in when promised (and it was made clear it would be a wait) and holds up great when I've compared it to all the photos I could get my hands on.

        Just my .02.

          Re: Otter Creek

Thank you for your concern. (Actually Johnny emailed me personally and we have corresponded back and forth since this string started.)

For various reasons I have decided to cut back. I am not involved with any of the "politics" (that I know of ) - Paul C made it clear that I am welcome to "re-up" as an official AC vendor when circumstances change for me.

I am finishing up some medical wares in the next few weeks, then I have projects to do for Dan Wambaugh and Don Smith. I am also continuing to do work for previous customers and friends as well as working on a French 1609 impression. Not to mention ... I want to relax a bit with my lovely wife and three wonderful sons during this semester break.

          Merry Christmas, to all ...
