Yeah, I guess the website doesn’t direct you to his e-mail address very clearly. You have to click on customer care and then click on locator.Kris Kransel

I would just like to toss in that I have been corresponding with him for the past few weeks and received my Type 2 Congress shoes from him yesterday. Mr. Land's serivce is top notch. He was very helpful last summer when he made a pair of his Workman's Boots for me. When I put them on the first time, I was amazed by how comfortable they were, like having socks on.

Has anyone had any trouble getting ahold of Robert Land lately? I haven't heard back from him since early June regarding a repair order placed in March. I've heard such wonderful things about his customer service... but I am getting a little concerned.

I have also left an email with him around August 1 and have not heard back, however he did respond quickly to my previous email about a month ago. Maybe he is on vacation?

I have heard both good and bad experiences in dealing with with Mr. Land. My own experience was extremely unpleasant. The original order communication was good, but my "in-stock" shoes did not arrive for nealy 3 months. I was told they would ship on the 1st of month (three days later) and that he only shipped on 1st and 15th. He would not return my phone calls or respond to my e-mails, only after my credit card company got involved and contacted him did my shoes arrive. The quality is great, but customer service was non-exsistent. This has been my oly bad experienc with any vendor.
