I have for sale a repro/original 1863 musket. The buttplate/lock and I believe the ram rod is original. Everything else is reproduction. The buttplate is heavily pitted. The lock is nice and functions perfectly, with a smooth action. Ramrod looks original as there is no crimped piece or place where it screws together to make 2 pieces like other repros. The barrel is reproduction with non standard rifling. It’s 58 caliber and nice. This came out of an old collection so I’m not sure who made the barrel as there is no markings on it. But is a functioning rifle.
