I’m looking to sell just about all of my kit. I haven’t done any events since 2014, and I can’t justify continuing to keep all this sitting in storage. So, off it all goes. Prices exclude shipping, so if you’d like to buy something let me your zip code please. I’d prefer Paypal. Unless otherwise specified, all the clothing has machine sewn main seams but visible stitching is by hand. As I’ll be moving soon, too, sales are final. Consequently, if you have any questions or want more pictures or measurements, please feel free to ask. I’ll also happily entertain reasonable offers. - Late war 4-button Confederate sack coat. No buttons attached, but I have a set of CSA buttons I can throw in. The jean cloth is all cotton, osnaburg lined. 17.5 inches pit to pit. $50. SOLD
- North Carolina six-button jacket. Wool/cotton mix, natural dyed in, I think, sumac. Originally a B&B Tart kit. It’s got a mix of US eagles and plain coin buttons. 21 inches pit to pit. $60. SOLD
- CS frock coat with block I buttons. Logwood dyed jean cloth, osnaburg lined. Measures 19 inches pit to pit. $65. SOLD
- Richmond Depot type II jacket in blue/grey kersey, with wooden two-hole buttons. I don’t recall whose kersey this is. It’s a copy of the Brunson jacket, which was almost entirely machine sewn and had some interesting extra fabric added in the underarms of the sleeves. Machine topstitching, hand sewn buttonholes. Measures 19 inches pit to pit. $55. SOLD
- Richmond Depot type II jacket in logwood dyed jean cloth. 8 button front with wooden two-hole buttons. Missing two buttons, one on the epaulette and one on the front. I have some CSA or general service eagle buttons I can add in if wished. There’s some really nice fading on this one; it’s my personal favourite of the lot. This was a B&B Tart kit. Measures 19 inches pit to pit. $60. SOLD
- Peter Tait jacket, with red trimmed epaulettes and collar, and block A buttons. One button is disattached from the front, but it’s included sitting in the pocket waiting to be sewn back on. Machine topstitiching and handsewn buttonholes, as per original. Made by myself. Measures 19 inches pit to pit. $70. SOLD
- Peter Tait jacket, with blue trim and epaulettes. A copy of the Taylor jacket. No buttons, but I do have a set of script I buttons to add in. The lining is linen as per the original, but a bit rougher/thicker than it should properly be. Some of the seams don’t seem like they were properly pressed. Machine topstitching and handsewn buttonholes, as per the original. Measures 19 inches pit to pit. $45. SOLD
- VMI Cadet Jacket. Blue jean cloth, VMI Cadet buttons. Unlined. Measures 19 inches pit to pit. $45. SOLD
- Brown jean cloth trousers. Mule ear trousers in a mid brown wool/cotton jean cloth. Definitely very worn, with lots of patches and rips up and down including a big tear in the left leg seam. No buckle on the back, but I have one I’ll add in. I quite like how worn it is, but that’s of course that’s subjective. Half waist 15 inches (buttoned) with a 30 inch inseam. $30. SOLD
- Olive drab jean cloth trousers. Sort of a brown color with a little hint of green mixed in. Mule ear again. Unlined interior waistband and a gusset on the rear. Inseam is 34 inches, unhemmed, and the half waist is 16 inches. $45. SOLD
- Blue/Grey Kersey Trousers. Not sure whose kersey this is. Mule ear. The seams could use a good pressing as they seem to have relaxed over the years. 15 inch half waist, 31 inch inseam. The leg opening looks slightly small to my eye, so I measured it and it is 16 inches in circumference. $40. SOLD
- Royal Blue Trousers. 14 inch half waist, 31 inch inseam unhemmed. The leg opening looks slightly small to my eye so I measured it and it is 15 inches in circumference. Machine topstitched with handsewn buttonholes. Short a few buttons. $40. SOLD
- Veterans Reserve Corps jacket. Corporal stripes. I think I wore this once? Made by myself. Measures 18.5 inches pit to pit. $65. SOLD

- US sack coat. Flannel lined. Machine topstitched with handsewn buttonholes. No buttons but I can send a set with the coat if wanted. Small hole on the left side of the waist under the left arm, visible in the rear photo. Measures 17.5 inches pit to pit. $50. SOLD
- US sack coat. This is an old John Wedeward coat that I converted to an unlined blouse. Machine sewn topstitching, hand felled seams and handsewn buttonholes. Measures 18.5 inches pit to pit. $65. SOLD
- US Greatcoat. This is 100% handsewn, made by myself from a County Cloth kit. Unfortunately I got too close to the fire at one point and singed the back. Otherwise still solid though. One front button unattached and missing the two on the rear belt but I will include them with the coat. It was made to fit over the above jackets; it measures 22 inches pit to pit. $150. SOLD
- US trousers. Not side seam pockets but instead front pockets. Machine topstitched with handsewn buttonholes. I don’t recall which contractor did that sort of pocket. 14.5 inch half waist, 24 inch inseam. Missing a couple buttons on the fly. $30.
- US trousers. Standard SA type but with a field modification; the side pockets are sewn shut and the front pocket opening added. I remember it was copied after an original modification, but where I saw it I do not recall. Waist 14.5 inches, inseam 29 inches, leg opening 15 inches. $30. SOLD
- 146th chasseur trousers. Worn once. This was made by myself last minute before the event, and only about 90% finished up (missing some topstitching, for instance). Perfectly wearable, but I’m consciously selling it as a ‘project’ since there remains a little more to do. Mix of machine and handsewn topstitching, handsewn buttonholes, missing a few buttons and a buckle. 15 inch half waist, 20 inch inseam (chasseur trousers, so not meant to be the same length as regular trousers). $30. SOLD
- US domet flannel shirt. 100% handsewn, made by myself. As measured by neck size, it is about 14.25 inches. $40. SOLD
- Red plaid cotton shirt. Originally sutler row grade, but the machine buttonholes have been oversewn by hand. Missing one placket button. Neck measures about 13.5 inches. $15.
- Blue stripe cotton shirt. 100% handsewn and made by myself. 16.5 inch neck. $35.
- Blue check cotton shirt. 100% handsewn. The neck measures 15 inches. $30.
- 146th NY cap. Measures about 22 ¼ inches, or about a 7 1/8 hat size. $55. SOLD
- Grey CS kepi. Dark grey jean cloth, tarred cloth brim and sweatband. Measures 22.5 inches, or about a 7 1/8. $30. SOLD
- Olive drab CS kepi. This is made from the same sort of material as the trousers above, a wool/cotton jean cloth in brown color mixed with a little green. Leather brim and band. Measures about 21 ¾ inches, or about a 6 7/8 hat size. $20. SOLD
- Civilian slouch hat. This was made by Tim Bender, I’m pretty sure. Very nice regardless. Measures about 22 5/8, or roughly somewhere between a 7 1/8 and 7 ¼ hat size. $90. SOLD
- US Hardee hat. Another one by Tim Bender. Measures about 22 5/8 inches. Got a little squished after a few years in storage, but its otherwise in good condition and I’m sure a little hat block or some wear will sort out the shape just fine. $90. SOLD
- US forage cap, type I. Measures 22 5/8 inches. $25. SOLD
- US forage cap, type II. Measures 22 inches. $20. SOLD
- CS boots. These are a copy of the Lapham boots. A very nice reproduction but I’m unsure of the original maker. Maybe MB&S? About a US 9. $80. SOLD
- US brogans. These were cut down as per an original. Nice pair, but I’m not sure of the original maker. Small gouge out of the corner of the left shoe sole (see picture) but otherwise quite nice. About a US 9. $65. SOLD
- Civilian blanket. Wool material, hand hemmed, and a handsewn seam down the center. Lighter weight. Measures about 76 x 89 inches. $45.
- CS blanket. I think this may have been a Wambaugh & White blanket run. If not it’s a good blanket on its own merits; it has a nice weight to it. Hand hemmed. Measures about 58 x 85 inches. $70.
- US blanket. Embroidered US. Measures out 66 x 81 inches. Good hefty weight to it. I forget whose this was but it was one of those nice one-off runs made several years ago. $85. SOLD

- CS Bayley haversack. Certainly used, and could do with a wash on the inside, but otherwise quite solid. All visible stitching by hand. $20. SOLD
