I’m looking for an older reproduction ( maker doesn’t matter , Chiappa, Pedersoli) of the M1859 Sharps Carbine with the patch box. I plan to fire paper cartridges out of it and I’ve read that the newer models have problems doing that.. Doesn’t have to be mint, just in good working order and ready to use. Thanks!

Hi Michael,
I have not heard that new guns had an issue with firing. I have a friend that has a Pedersoli that he has never fired. I am not sure how old it is as to when he bought it. I am thinking it is at least 5 years old. Not sure if that is considered an older gun. He is looking to sell it. If you are interested, I can reach out to him and see if he is interested in moving it.
