talked with a guy who worked on cleaning out bannermans island arsenal between when the heirs passed it to the state and the fire... imagine a room the size of a gymnasium piled 4 feet high with federal hard packs, and another with canteens... the fire was a disaster... still lots of bannermans stock floating around...
