Here's the stuff I found at NARA on the 23rd Tennessee Battalion, which was in the same brigade as the 45th TN.

Gents, the letter is in the hands of my father's cousin and he lives a few states away. I'll see what I can get, but it will probably be a transcribed version of the letter. He does not want the letter or letters to leave his home.

A transcription it's very well for me, even a transcription on AC it's very well , we can understand that the cousin of your father does not want that letters leave that house...
