I have looked through several books and have found no answer to my question maybe somebody out there could shed some light on this question for me. Were confederate soldiers from North Carolina issued Green jean cloth Six Button shell Jackets from Mid to late war I know they were issued Early war sack coats but I have not been able to find information on the north carolina shell jacket.
