I would like this groups help in identifying a desk my son inherited from his great grandfather.
It came from East Tn in Grainger County Tn. (Blaine Tn)
We were told it was a field desk from the civil war.
It comes apart in three pieces.
The top has a drop down front
the middle has two drawers
and the bottom is made up of saw buck legs that fold.
Any help that you can provide would be appreciated.
