Proper Kepie

Please help me to properly place insinia on a union kepie. I have the atillery (crossed cannons) on the top. I am looking for pics/books that would help me to place the L (light atillery) and 1 (first divison). This is in keeping with my home state of Ohio. Does the L1 go to the front of the cap or to the top? Thank-you for all you help for this first timer.
