      Whoops, Lee is correct. The longhorn hat pin was dug in Georgia, not Virginia. My bad, But it's still a great new brass option for us Texans. Especially those of us of the burnt orange variety.

        Does the book have any photos or descriptions of the flags of the 1st Texas? I'm especially interested in the state flag that the 1st Texas carried with them (unofficially, since Gen. Lee had ordered all units to use only the ANV banners) at Gettysburg?
